AIGA Emerge facilitates programming for designers 0-5 years into their design careers, including recent design school graduates as well as those who recently transitioned careers.

As someone who transitioned professional pathways, I am passionate about supporting emerging designers.

In this 20-minute talk, I focused on salient and non-salient identities in an equity and representation paradigm, and how representation and belonging were factors in my career definition, design methodology, and project communication.

The Value of Design at Adobe Design Summit

Adobe Design Summit is the largest-ever gathering of Adobe’s design leaders and practitioners, along with key partners. Select external design community members were also invited to join. To get a taste of the action, visit the event’s Behance page.

In this 12-minute talk, I demonstrated the business-value of design with a case study on my design work for an e-commerce pricing page, which had strong financial ROI (ask me about the ARR and ARPU).
