Hello,
is it me you're looking for?
I am a Design leader based out of San Francisco. I manage a lean design team, spinning up the Education effort within Adobe.
While I help my team navigate Adobe’s matrixed organization, we also operate very much like a startup — the Edu initiative is only 2 years old, and I’ve been with the team since its inception. We are still tackling zero-to-one and initial user needs discovery at every turn, with lean resourcing and quick iterative processes.
I embody a player-coach mentality by
offering mentorship to less-experienced designers
sizing and resourcing design projects
distilling complex initiatives into crisp, concise business communications
captaining visions of the future, rooted in real possibility
simplifying complex decisions and systems to be more intuitive — maybe even a little fun
representing the voice of the user through both independent and collaborative research efforts
spearheading design thinking exercises to facilitate brainstorming, team values, and more
intelligently lending my pixel muscles to others’ projects when needed, while courageously leading my own independent projects in tandem

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a woman of strength and taste.
After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Communications, I consulted in the Nonprofit industry for 3 years. In the middle of my early career, I found my true home in UX Design.
I hustled, forging my own projects and working multiple jobs. I contracted with folks from IDEO and Smart Design as a Researcher on a health wearable, then immersed myself full-time and full-throttle in the Design practice.
For the past 3 years I've been working Adobe, doing concept-to-deployment strategy and design. I’ve found a sweet spot in teams that tackle tough and often un-sexy challenges. I lead other designers and approach my own projects with a customer-focused mindset and scrappy resolve, with an eye for the blue sky future.
I am a native Californian, living and working in the San Francisco Bay Area.
